| The Angel Island graves are located in Section E, which is in the east side of the angle where the "wings" of the cemetery meet. |
| To find Section E, enter at the main gate and turn right on Circle Drive. Follow Circle Drive until you reach Nimitz Drive. Nimitz Drive intersects with Plaza Drive North. At the intersection is a turning circle. Park here at the southeast corner of Section E. |
| Walk down the sloping hillside to the west of the parking circle. The named Angel Island graves are located in four rows running roughly east-west to the base of the hillside, the center of the northmost row being marked (as of 4/27/2005) by a large tree growing beside the headstone of Joe Fereira (E306). The graves are not arranged in any order other than plot number. |
