John H Taylor
- Private USA Alabama 3/4/1875 2/27/1905 E 426 131 Taylor was a private in Company A of the 105th Coast Artillery. In 1901 the five old artillery regiments were broken up and divided into field and coast artillery battalions. The 105th was one of these new units. Taylor's Company A may have been posted to Angel Island at the time of his death. As of April 2004 the US Department of Veteran's Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator also carried the cryptic note that Taylor was a "US Citizen who served w/Allies." |
