Brodwell, Charles Private USA Massachusetts - 10/13/1869 E 404 31 Bodwell was a private in the 12th Infantry Regiment. The 12th Infantry was created early in the Civil War and sent out west in 1869. Bodwell's Company K was stationed on Angel Island at the time of his death. In April 2004 the US Department of Veteran's Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator had his surname listed as "Brodwell, Charles." The U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs Database noted that he was originally buried on Angel Island. |
