Rose Roth
- Dependent - - 1/5/1879 E 393 75 In April of 2004 all that the US Department of Veteran's Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator recorded for Rose Roth was that she was the "daughter (minor child) of Roth, Valentine, PVT US ARMY." Rose's presence in the cemetery is a testimony to the childhood mortality of the times, and the enlisted men who had families with them on military posts, despite the army's attempts to discourage them. Notes taken at the National Archives state that Rose's father was a member of the 4th U.S. Artillery Band. |
