Frederick Hosfeldt
- Dependent - - 11/3/1873 E 388 53 In April of 2004 all that the US Department of Veteran's Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator recorded for Frederick Hosfelfdt was that he was the "son (minor child) of Hosfeldt, Father, PVT US ARMY." Frederick's presence in the cemetery is a testimony to the childhood mortality of the times, and the enlisted men who had families with them on military posts, despite the army's attempts to discourage them. Notes taken from the National Archives indicate that Henry's father was a member of the 12th U.S. Infantry Band. |
