Charles Kinnaka
Kirinka, Charles; Kirinlea, Chas. Private USA Missouri - 6/2/1869 E 362 28 Kinnaka was a private in the 12th Infantry Regiment. The 12th Infantry was created early in the Civil War and sent out west in 1869. Kinnaka's Company G was stationed on Angel Island at the time of his death. In April 2004 both the US Department of Veteran's Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator and the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs Database had his surname as "Kirinka." Notes from the National Archives spell his surname "Kirinlea." |
