William Davis
- Private USA New Jersey - 8/4/1873 E 344 51 Davis was a private in Company H of the 12th Infantry Regiment. The 12th Infantry was created early in the Civil War and sent out west in 1869. Davis' Company H was stationed on Angel Island at the time of his death, however, according to notes taken at the National Archives, Davis was on Alcatraz when he died.. |
