Harry W Gunckel
- Private USA Ohio - 7/11/1891 E 333 102 Gunckel was a private in Company B of the 1st United States Infantry Regiment (company unknown). The old 1st Infantry traced its heritage back to 1784. In 1886 the regiment was transferred to the Department of California. At the time of Gunckel's death the regiment's companies were stationed throughout the state, Gunckel's company was probably stationed on Angel Island or Alcatraz. |
