August Segerblum
- Private USA - - 3/13/1888 E 332 92 Segerblum was a private in Company I of the 15th United States Infantry Regiment. The 15th Infantry was created at the outbreak of the Civil War (following two earlier 15th Infantries that had briefly existed during the War of 1812 and Mexican War). The 15th saw a great deal of action in the Civil War and was sent to the Far West after the war. Segerblum's presence on Angel Island is something of a mystery to this writer, as at the time of his death the entire 15th Infantry was stationed in the Department of Dakota. |
